Shri S.S. Dubey takes cost as Controller General of Accounts

Shri S.S. Dubey took the cost because of the Controller General of Accounts (CGA). Shri Dubey is the twenty-eighth Controller General of Accounts (CGA), Ministry of Finance, Government of India.

With impact from March 6, 2023, the Indian government have chosen Shri Dubey, an Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS) official from the 1989 batch, because the Controller General of Accounts (CGA). Shri Dubey served because the Public Financial Management System’s Assistant Controller General of Accounts earlier than taking on the CGA (PFMS).


Shri Dubey has held positions as Chief Controller of Accounts within the Ministries of Housing and Urban Affairs, Industrial Policy and Promotion, and Supply, as well as Controller or Deputy Controller of Accounts within the Ministries of Environment and Forest, External Affairs, Revenue, and Supply. Shri Dubey served as Joint Secretary and Financial Advisor to the Ministries of Housing & Urban Affairs and Development of the Northeastern Region while on deputation from the Central Government. He oversaw the Targeted Public Distribution System (PDS) and the CWC while serving because the Ministry of Food, Consumer Affairs, and Public Distribution’s deputy secretary and director (PSU).


Shri Dubey served as a director on the boards of public sector organizations corresponding to Engineering Projects India Ltd., NBCC, HUDCO, and metro rail companies in quite a few states, all of which have been nominated by the Government of India.
